We are excited to welcome both new and returning students to Rio Grande City Grulla ISD for the 2025-2026 school year!
New Student Registration:
Registration for new students is now open! For your convenience, you can register online via our district website at myrgcgisd.org. If you prefer, you may also register in person at the Student Services Department at Fort Ringgold.
Returning Students:
Returning students do not need to re-register. Our district will automatically rollover student information for the new school year. On the first day of school, students will receive registration information to take home. However, we kindly ask that you review and update your child’s registration details as soon as possible to ensure that our District Student Information System is current.
Free School for 3- and 4-Year-Olds:
School will be free for all students who turn 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.

¡Nos complace dar la bienvenida a los estudiantes nuevos y estudiantes que regresan al Distrito Escolar Independiente de Rio Grande City Grulla para el año escolar 2025-2026!
Inscripción de nuevos estudiantes:
¡Ya está abierta la inscripción de nuevos estudiantes! Para su comodidad, puede inscribirse en línea en el sitio web de nuestro distrito: myrgcgisd.org. Si lo prefiere, también puede inscribirse en persona en el Departamento de Servicios Estudiantiles de Fort Ringgold.
Estudiantes que regresan:
Los estudiantes que regresan no necesitan volver a inscribirse. Nuestro distrito transferirá automáticamente la información del estudiante al nuevo año escolar. El primer día de clases, el estudiante recibirá la información de inscripción para llevar a casa. Sin embargo, le pedimos que revise y actualice la información de inscripción de su hijo/a lo antes posible para garantizar que nuestro Sistema de Información Estudiantil del Distrito esté actualizado.
La escuela será gratuita para todos los estudiantes que cumplan 3 o 4 años de edad el 1 de septiembre o antes del año escolar 2025-2026.

RGCGISD Football Goes Gold


The After-School Tutorial Program will begin on September 10th for 4th-12th grade students who meet the eligibility requirements.


‼️Attention RGCGISD Parents and Guardians‼️ As we prepare to receive our precious students on Monday, August 12th for the the 2024/25 school year, we want to inform you that our campuses will require a valid ID for anyone picking up a student from school. Additionally, please note that no minors will be allowed to pick up students under any circumstances. This procedure is being implemented to ensure the safety and security of all our students. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to create a safe environment for your children. Lastly, please contact the front office at your child's campus to update the list of authorized persons to pick up your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office. The Department of Counseling and Mental Health recently held a half-day training session on May 29th, 2024, at Rio Grande City Grulla ISD. This informative session, geared towards middle and high school counselors, focused on House Bill 5 (HB5) and graduation requirements. The interactive session fostered a collaborative environment where counselors could learn from each other's experiences and insights. This exchange of knowledge will undoubtedly equip them to better support students as they navigate the graduation requirements outlined in HB5.
